Feature Requests & Bug Reports

Feature requests and bug reports can be made on our GitHub issues page.

Not sure how to work with GitHub? Consult our guide on how to request a feature or report a bug.

A note on feature requests: We’re always weighing up priorities, so if you want your idea implemented, make a case for why we should do it sooner!

A note on bug reports: Please try to include as much information as possible: JASP version, operating system, what you were doing, the JASP file, or the data file, screenshots, etc. It’s also worth noting what ‘crash’ means. A crash is where the software suddenly and unexpectedly closes down. If you run an analysis, and it says “An unexpected error occurred” this is not a crash and the specified message can be send to us. Correctly describing an issue will make all of our lives easier!
