In the past few years, a number of companies have requested that we offer service to go with the JASP software. In order to fulfill such requests we recently founded JASP Services BV. Check out our brand new website and our first blog post. This is our mission statement:
At JASP Services BV, our mission is to help organizations transition away from expensive, inflexible statistical software and towards JASP, a powerful, open-source alternative trusted globally by users in both academia and industry. JASP has an intuitive graphical user interface and offers a comprehensive set of analysis tools at zero licensing costs, making it an ideal choice for modern data analysis.
We offer tiered service plans—Economy, Standard, and Premium—to support organizations throughout their adoption of JASP. These plans provide assistance with installation, onboarding, a private issue tracker, prioritized feature requests, and expedited bug fixes. We also offer training and workshops. For a fraction of the cost of commercial alternatives, our clients gain expert support, access to a team of methodologists and statisticians, and the confidence to fully embrace open-source software.
We are committed to the open-source philosophy: all our software enhancements remain freely available under open-source licenses. We also believe in forming true partnerships with our clients—mutually beneficial relationships that are focused on support and collaboration. Our aim is to enhance JASP with service that is as reliable, responsive, and innovative as the software itself.
We believe that the JASP Services BV presents a tremedous opportunity for companies — essentially, they are given the option for better (open-source) software and expert service for a fraction of the costs that they currently spend on standard closed-source software. With the JASP Services BV we will assist companies in their adoption of JASP, and we anticipate this endeavor will accelerate the development of JASP as well, benefitting students, researchers, and data analysts around the world. You can follow JASP Services BV on LinkedIn and on Bluesky.
