Last week the JASP team received an Email that made our day [after we confirmed it wasn’t spam :-)]. The Email informed us that JASP has been added to Softpedia’s database of software programs for Windows. Written by one of the Softpedia editors, the detailed and positive review features a description text, screenshots, download links, and technical details. You can read the full review here.
In addition, Softpedia tested JASP “using several industry-leading security solutions” and confirmed that it does not contain any adware/spyware components. We were not surprised to hear this, but it is still nice to have it officially confirmed. We even got an award, the “100% FREE” Softpedia award. Here is the screenshot:
Of course this kind of public appreciation is really satisfying, especially for the many dedicated JASP team members who have worked hard to make the program what it is today. The JASP team is still growing and we are excited about our plans for the near future!
